Challenge
Unitex required an Intranet to centralize control over its data resources and provide reliable and easy-to-use communication tools for its employees.
Before partnering with VJ STUDIO, Unitex had spent four years trying to implement a new Intranet in an effort to satisfy employees’ current needs.
However, it had not maximized its return on the investment or even inspired employees to use the system for their own benefits.
Unitex’s Intranet was an unattractive hard-to-navigate, useless communication tool that did not provide an ability to communicate effectively
between employees and departments. Unitex wanted a new Intranet that inspires employees and provides a way for them to collaborate and access data.

Solutions
VJ STUDIO created a new experience for Unitex and its employees, by simply redesigning the interface and implementing the identity of the company
into an innovative and energetic new look that inspires.
The new Intranet site provides easy control over documents, presentation templates, reports and video files. Employees can securely access
information or share files with their colleagues. VJ STUDIO introduced a directory that can be searched by Name, Title, or Department and
provides valuable information about people employed by Unitex.
We developed a dynamic corporate calendar that outlines business events, meetings, employees’ birthdays and even after work social events.
We also integrated feeds for real time weather and news.

Results
Two out of three employees use the new Intranet at least once a day.
98% of all business meetings and corporate events are scheduled and announced through the Intranet calendar.
Average usage of various documents available through the Intranet has increased by 127%.
None of the employees’ birthdays were missed since the introduction of the new Intranet site.
