How VJ STUDIO helped «W-Furniture» realize the power of e-business by digitizing its inventory and making the ordering process an easy and stress-free experience.
W-Furniture teamed with VJ STUDIO to build a B2B e-commerce web site designed to deliver a multitude of products and help clients review items, choose the right products for their projects, as well as receive online consultancy and submit online orders.
W-Furniture’s clients had to be able easily to find products for their upcoming projects and get other product recommendations based on selected or recently purchased items.
The new web site had to accommodate frequent inventory changes and required a powerful content management system intuitive enough to be operated by non-technical users. The system had to track orders placed through the web site and generate financial reports based on each clients.
For us, the first step is to make the shopping experience easier and more user-friendly for customers, paying special attention to the look-and-feel and the navigation of the web site. To this end, our solution communicates the overall brand as well as the unique sensibilities of each of the core product lines.
We developed a project wizard that allows customer to select a project type, such as restaurant or coffee-shop, add design orientation, such as modern or chinese and receive a list of items that best accommodate the described project.
We empowered the new web site with a content management system that allows non-technical users the ability to manage the entire inventory, using intuitive tools, track orders, and administrate customers’ accounts.
