Unitex web site

Unitex’s objective was not simply to update the organization and layout of their corporate web presence, but to integrate content and functionality from multiple existing sites into one unified, redesigned online identity.

The challenge was to develop a corporate web site that provided tailored content and access for multiple audiences (visitors, clients, partners, vendors, press and shareholders) across different geographic regions. The new corporate web site had to make a tangible contribution to the company's efforts to increase client base and improve brand recognition on the Internet.

The web site content management had to be simple and intuitive, and allow non-technical users to update the site’s content in minutes.

VJ STUDIO’s experts performed user testing with Unitex’s marketing team and created a new design to enhance the site utility and satisfy the expectations of users.

The new design provides a strong sense of brand as well as improved navigation and functionality. We designed and developed a corporate web site that merges three very different macro-sites into one content-rich, high-performing yet easy-to-use online presence.

For the underlying infrastructure of the site, a custom content management system was developed to streamline internal information management and publish content faster. VJ STUDIO leveraged the existing technical infrastructure and built the new web site to scale for the company’s future needs.

Since the redesigned corporate web site launched, site traffic has increased by more than 400%.
