We are looking for highly motivated and talented Business Development Manager which will be calling on medium-to-large
companies to generate sales. The successful candidate will be a sales professional who is most comfortable and successful selling into the
executive level of prospects.
This individual will be responsible for bringing in new clients to VJ STUDIO as well as managing clients through the
Business Development process. Specifically, the successful candidate will manage the sales process from the initial client contact through
closing the business, with opportunities that range from smaller projects to large, complex and strategic engagements. This person will
also help to plan and execute the marketing support needed to drive qualified opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Help to create and execute a sales plan to achieve company goals and targets;
- Identify business prospects and key decision-makers that meet VJ STUDIO's criteria;
- Develop ongoing and profitable relationships with decision makers within identified companies and position VJ STUDIO as an ongoing solution for their marketing, technology and business needs;
- Able to assess client's business objectives to provide strategic marketing recommendations and creative solutions to business problems in proposal or presentation format;
- Write project proposals, response to RFP and create PowerPoint presentations;
- Manage all phases of Business Development initiatives, from research and planning to pitches, proposals and contracts;
- Act as key liaison between potential client and internal teams including marketing, design and technology;
- Prospect new clients via phone, marketing and networking events;
- Represent company at industry events and conferences;
- Interact with industry partners in the area of joint business development.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree or equivalent experience;
- Previous experience in leading the acquisition and building relations with new prospects;
- Industry experience and strong knowledge of traditional and interactive marketing solutions;
- Up-to-date on latest interactive trends and innovations;
- Exceptional track record of sales success;
- Excellent presentation skills and ability to interface and present with C-Level executives;
- Well organized and extremely efficient;
- Motivated by a rewarding commission plan;
- Excellent interpersonal, writing and communication skills.
